I think it's important to be able to say, while playing and enjoying a game like, idk, Civ, or Anno, or etc, "Here's the way this game has colonialist themes, here's how I feel about that"

i am grateful that having to listen to very obviously faulty reasoning and the defense of horrific actions by people they stand by forced me to lock in on educating myself in socialist politics.
