I know what you mean. As with a lot of 90’s cars they don’t look like they should be 30 years old

Cheers. They’re my favourites too; I had the twin 3 spoke GSI wheels on my original Corsa B 20 years ago

For what is essentially the same car, they do look very different

I've always thought the XC90 was a handsome car. Prefer the pre-facelift version though

It’s not just me who has a spreadsheet for everything then. Although sometime I think ‘I’d rather not know’

Ah, great. Just checked and our return crossing is on the Mont St Michel, we go out on the Guilliame De Normandie. Headed down to Villefranche-Sur-Mer via Chablis, Mazan, Grenoble, Lyon and Reims. Where are you headed?

That’s very encouraging to hear, thank you. What you’ve described is pretty much our plan too. From what I’ve seen online the boat looks nice too

How did you find the Portsmouth - Caen ferry? We’ve done hull-Rotterdam and LeShuttle quite a few times but just booked Caen crossing for later in the year

If you’ll might need to into any of the crit-air zones, then I’d take the Spark - perfect for city use and will be allowed in. If not, then the Defender as it’d be an adventure

The Mondeo has a nice, clean and simple design. The 75 however looks truly lovely

Have seen a lot of these in a France and they’re a handsome thing

I’d lose to see a Corsa B estate on one of our Italy trips

My first year at FOTU was 2023 and I was really struck by how inclusive it was. Truly brilliant, Rustival is following in the same vein

Potentially but keeping what you’ve got going is the greener option. Generally the better option, glad you got them done

I think she thought it would be better to put the repair money towards another car rather than repair it. Definitely far too good to scrap; got loads of history - including its old tax disks. Luckily my friend needs a car otherwise I’d probably keep it as I’m quite taken with it

Other than a scuffed on the front bumper and badly perished roof stripes it’s in beautiful condition. The Lounge leather interior is gorgeous. I had an R53 and loved it, seriously tempted to keep it but it’s going to a friend once it’s fixed up

I’m sure we saw some of those in Paris (in fact saw a few EV’s we don’t seem to have in the UK yet)
Nice to see a small car as the move seems to be towards bigger stuff. Not just EV but ICE aswell

Thanks for the link; been considering an under car washer for ages. Be easier than trying to get under with the lance

As much as I love my old Corsa B, would have to be the Clio for me

Yes, very much so. Most of the people I follow moved here anyway, so was feeling a bit redundant.

You can indeed. Although they’re connected, you can delete Threads without affecting Instagram. It’s just in the ‘account’ section

Feel a bit conflicted with Instagram; I like it but don’t like Meta, so it’s staying for now but we’ll see. So far BlueSky is working pretty well for keeping up with the people i like following
