Hm... I had never considered how safety tools might look different for kids than adults. X cards would likely still work if you make sure the kids feel confident to use them. Lines and veils would likely look very different.

The mirror is playing out the scenes from your game the night before! Instant TV show! Terrible for closed games, as you find out which characters are actually working for Nyarlathotep.

The workshop, run over 3 sessions, is open to anyone aged 16 or over, and will involve attendees preparing basic adventures that they will run without instructor supervision.

In a classroom setting, come and learn some tips, tricks and general philosophies for how to prepare and run sessions, some new skills for gathering and managing your table, and take home some resources you can use to turn the whole hobby from an idea into a well-run game!

afurness.itch.io/camp-flying-... PbtA game. I've had success running it for groups of mixed ages at events (kids + adults), and the adventure prompts are generally about magical creatures in the forest. The camp is very American, so we usually kiwi-fy it, your module would be helpful.

It should definitely be told Rock-a-bye, baby!

Based on the link, I could see this working well with "Camp Flying Moose for Girls of All Kinds", or the Kids on brooms/bikes systems.

I was using the show as an excuse not to have to start on the books. It felt like a lot when I was first recommended them at 16 and happily churning through books, and it feels even more so now with a full time job! Now the show has been cancelled and so have my excuses...

The coin measures your coin purse: if you have enough for the item you want it shows crowns, if you don't it shows shields.

Hello! We are trying to do similar things in our local area! We host in person events mostly, as well as a discord and FB community group.

Give them mismatched dice. a) it's easier for newbies to remember the yellow dice is the d12, and blue is d8 b) it may create new dice goblins.

We have 31 different systems submitted for an event in September and I think we had 50ish last year.

I do not need to give our DM any help on that front.
