ALSO: we used colour-coded pieces of masking tape to indicate where in the home the box was going (upstairs bedrooms, basement, kitchen, garage, etc).

This is SUCH AN IMPORTANT TOPIC, because it's intentionally overlooked by medicine and science.
If you have a monthly hormone cycle, it WILL impact your mental state and the effectiveness of drugs. That doesn't mean they're bad or don't work, but rather just need to be tracked.

Stimulants of any kind are going to have an impact on your existing mental state, so even if it's not really noticeable normally, it may enhance underlying edginess to show up as actual anxious feelings, when otherwise you're pretty chill.
