Haven't found a reason to stop, and things aren't great in my native country at the mo' either. So there's that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I’m fine! That’s the estimate for a procedure coming up in a couple of weeks. After which, I’ll still be fine!

Someone has to make sure someone else makes a pile of cash. Capitalism at its finest.

Squeeze it! It'll help. I discovered the little ball holder worked for helping hold a beer as well.

I'm good! In Panama at the moment. Going back to the USA soon. I have a few things to do, then head off again to...somewhere. :)

I prepped food for a couple of weeks ahead, since I was going to be alone. I feel ya. Do you have a Venmo, Wise, PayPal, or Zelle account? I’ll buy you some takeout.

Yeah. I don't blow sunshine and rainbows out of my ass. It's going to suck. A lot. But having a functional shoulder at the end is a rather lovely thing.

It's definitely going to be a challenge. Good luck. Just don't fall over. I did. O_O

Using an ice machine? I found that helped a lot.

I'm going to give it a whirl. I'm always on the prowl for new-to-me authors/books.

Not familiar with that. Who's the author? Do you read dead trees or electronic?

And A torn rotator cuff SUCKS. I had mine repaired. The PT was almost worse. But, it's all good now a few years later.

Did you create a text replacement shortcut for “cheese” when writing it or hammer out the entire word for each of the approximately three million times it appears in the book?

Much like "patriot" did.

Well, I've made it out. I do have to return in two months for a bit, though. We'll see how it is then.
comment in response to post
In my case, not to want to return.

Sadly, I need to play here for a few more months. I’m almost more frightened than if I were on a Nepal Airlines flight out of Kathmandu.

Last time I ran with headphones, I didn’t hear the dog that chomped my leg. That was 12 years ago. Never since, even through ultras.

I used to run in shorts at -7°C. Used to. I’m older and wiser now.

Layering is key! But when the weather gets too bad, my outermost layer is a heated building.

I live out of a backpack and have 3: zip hoodie, rain jacket, and windbreaker. Twelve when living in a permanent place seems possible.
