Salaried employees would be leaving stacks of money on the table by not organizing and demanding overtime pay.

Has no one noticed that all 6 rookies made it to Q2? That’s a first.

The @prosalliance.bsky.social letter to AG Bonta that I and other lawyers signed last year, warned that charges against Diana were defective because the so-called disclosed records were public. He didn’t listen and now the court of appeal said exactly that. prosecutorsalliance.org/wp-content/u...

I assume this in response to Mamdani’s “freeze the rent” platform. The freeze refers to the 2M stabilized units here which have seen a 9% rent increase under Adams. I am curious what you think about the rest of the housing platform. www.zohranfornyc.com/policies/hou... @brendannyhan.bsky.social

This is exactly what the Cuomo PAC ads accomplished. They repeatedly amplified his platform assuming it would turn off voters and it did just the opposite.

While the plan says little about how Mamdani plans on using the NYPD, elsewhere he has said that he’d like them focusing on solving violent crime. That perfectly reflects the strategy we supported: respond to immediate crises of violence, address root causes, successfully solve violence crime.

Of course, the next few months are going to get ugly. Look for every horrible crime or moment of disorder on the subway to be Mamdani’s fault — even though Adams is still the mayor. “Criminals know that the law doesn’t matter anymore, blah, blah, blah.” Note: election results aren’t criminogenic.

Add “near me” to the end of each scenario question and see how far support drops.

PADILLA: "If this is how this admin responds to a senator with a question, if this is how DHS responds to a senator with a question, you can only imagine what they're doing to farm workers, cooks, day laborers in California and the rest of the country. We will hold this administration accountable."

The research of Andy Papachristos at Northwestern has been central to the understanding of social networks and shootings. I’ve not heard that statistic and I was in Chicago government. I don’t think 2,000 have ever been cleared in one year regardless of how many arrests.
