Normal people use normal text. Donald loves the caps lock - I guess he thinks it makes him and his message BIGGER. I’m surprised he hasn’t had them create a special up-sized bold font for his rants on his platform. Call it POTUS Bold and only he can use it.

Shocked. That post almost makes Qanon Barbie sound sane.

Also so attorneys can enrich themselves. The litigation over the cases has generated hundreds of millions (billions?) in fees for the attorneys involved. This will keep that gravy train going.

Nah. Do this to someplace he spends more time - Maralago or his Bedminster gold course.

It would be nice if Israel could at least put Iran’s drone production on the target list.
comment in response to post
Yeah, the list is long and yet he keeps on going without any penalty or punishment.

I hate conspiracy theories but must admit the data and the lack of respect for the law by some people involved does make me wonder about the possibility of manipulation of the voting machines. Stalin’s quote “elections are not decided by voters but by those who count the votes.”

Instead of 500% why don’t they list an ACTUAL number? Can they find 10? I read of at least one man arrested while caught near a protest. Later released and charges dropped. I suppose they will count his arrest.
comment in response to post
Sadly. Yes. It will only escalate the violence until homeland security can point to ACTUAL incidents of assault to say “see? We told you we needed to protect ourselves! Martial law. Send in the marines!”

Donald Trump has no brain, no heart, and no courage. So is he basically a combination of the Cowardly Lion, Tinman, and Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz? He is also nasty like the Wicked Witch and enjoys sending his flying monkeys after people. Shit. He’s every bad person in Dorothy’s nightmare.
comment in response to post
If Biden had said this MAGA, all republicans, and a lot of the press would be calling it out and calling for him to be replaced for mental incompetence. But for Trump it’s ok?!?! What few brains he had are seriously not working any longer.

Since when does any government organization get to decide on who can audit or oversee their activities? And what happened to the claim “most transparent government ever”?
comment in response to post
True. Even shouting for them to stop is going to called “obstruction” or an “assault”.
comment in response to post
Perhaps you can make it sound even better. 626.85% BS. With more decimal points and precision it sounds better. We can make up shit, too!
comment in response to post
If you repeat the lie often enough it goes to the top of the list when people search. It then becomes the new “truth”. Stalin understood this very well and he didn’t even have social media. (He did have total control of the media, though).

The hypocrisy kills me. The conservatives who hated Obamacare said that they didn’t want the government involved in their healthcare decisions. But when it comes to women and reproductive health they demand government control over THAT healthcare.

Thanks. This and other posts from you brought a bit of light and humor into the shitshow of our president and his administration.

Does google translate convert it like that? Or maybe just Musk’s AI. 😂

It is simple. From what I observe: Those committed by people of color get you deported. Those committed by rich white men get you elected or a position in the current administration.

Without reference to the dashcam I thought you meant a firearm. We seem to be headed for shootouts in the streets with the bullets more likely to strike bystanders than the intended targets.

The press goes next. At least anyone trying to speak out against the regime.

#5 immigration courts are not criminal courts. Does this impact the right of habeus corpus?
comment in response to post
#4. So I would really appreciate if a legal scholar could reply and clarify the legality of these actions. This matters because how one stops it depends on this key question. If the law permits this Then the only recourse is to change the law. Which is nearly hopeless right now.
comment in response to post
#3 the courts have permitted immigration authorities to suspend habeus corpus in many cases for many years - mainly at the borders when they catch someone illegally entering. Warning: I am not a lawyer. My reading of the congressional legal sidebar gives ICE leeway in cases of probable cause.
comment in response to post
#2 my assumptions: 1.ICE officers will not agree to act illegally. They will push back against an illegal order. Q. Is my assumption wrong? 2. It follows that they are convinced the orders are legal. Under what conditions would this and suspension of habeus corpus be legal?
comment in response to post
Bear with me, readers. I am going to ask a fundamental question here. It may take several posts and what I’d like to request are replies from serious legal scholars or those familiar with the inner workings of ICE and the immigration courts. Big question: Are these actions legal? See #2
comment in response to post
This congressional legal sidebar is interesting and scary. It leaves a lot of room for abuse with regard to ICE agent having “probable cause”. Further, some restrictions in this appear to have gone out the window. www.congress.gov/crs_external...

Military arrests? Of the president? Arresting anyone else’s just leaves Trump to pardon the person. I’m struggling to see how this ends. Not liking where it appears to be going.
comment in response to post
Sadly, I’m thinking these are not rogue units. Trump sets a quota for deportations and the directors of ICE are figuring out how to detain people fast enough without regard to guilt or cause. Just to meet their quotas. Hiring PB or more thugs Is part of their method. Force multiply they call it.
comment in response to post
So where are the other two branches of government? A million citizens ranting on Bluesky won’t stop this. Congress and the courts need to act.
comment in response to post
I see we are at 1930’s Germany. ICE is allowed to deputize local law enforcement. Some of these are local police or sheriff. Given the leader of the Proud Boys met with ICE and that ICE is hiring many more “agents” some are PB. It is sounding more and more like Trump’s private army.
comment in response to post
I want to know the facts regarding who is organizing this. Who is ordering these groups out to kidnap people? Without knowing that I don’t think you can stop it. All I get is silence on that topic. We need to dig deeper than the thugs. Beyond that, how do you propose we stop this?
comment in response to post
I agree it looks more like kidnapping than legal arrest. Seeing several of these I am now looking for: 1. The other side - who authorizes these actions and on what evidence? 2. What happens when they interview and realize some or all are US citizens or legal aliens? Are we really 1930’s Germany?
comment in response to post
The personnel involved appeared to be in uniforms. That is better than many of the “thugs” in everyday clothes wearing masks that have been acting as ICE officers. Were all of the workers in the country illegally? Will they have a chance to prove their right to be in the US? I hope they will.

Gee. I missed it. Shucks.

So much for finding fraud and corruption in the government. We didn’t need ELON to find these criminals. And now our president is accepting cash to let them go - without paying the government for what they stole. 🤬
comment in response to post
Doge was looking for fraud. Why? Those that committed it are being pardoned by the TACO.

I remember when he whined about two tiers of justice. You mean like he has now created? Use the police to go after anyone I don’t like, those that say bad things about me, or people who don’t give me money. Pardon those who donate to me and support me publicly.

Yup. And he “only ever does what is best for America”. Seems like I’ve heard that lie a few times.
