What I'm saying is: Maybe H.E.A.T. was wrong all those years ago. And the Parallax story saved us all from having to read much worse stories.

Honestly, I was happy to find two fully clothed models for them. I might have to make another that swings a paddle instead of a sword though.

I think designwise I just really like squigs as an accessory for Night Goblins. They are undoubtably silly for sure. But really so are fanatics, which are likely as iconic as trollslayers in the grand scheme of things. (I do love Slayers though. Bill King's short stories got to me young.)

One of the smartest things GW ever did was carve a place out for silliness & serious in equal measure. I agree Skaven do it well. Running a sneaky Ninja Rat Death Squad is just as lore accurate as Mad Science Rat Guild, or Body Horror-A-Go-Go. Any of which can be played straight or for laughs.

90% of Skaven lore is a lot of fun. I always loved them on the table. I could do without the broodmother bits that were tacked on through the rpg side of development though.
The development of Night Goblin lore over editions as they got madder and madder rivals troll slayers for best idea (squigs!)

Oh I never saw those issues. That's a real bad take on what could have been an interesting character exploration.

Of the new additions from back then I was keen on Maggott (though I wished he didn't have the blue form where he got all buff when he wore his maggots as wrist bands. His base look was interesting) and Joseph as a de-aged Magneto before the clone stuff.

You could keep it empty and caption the photo "JD Vance presenting a list of places that want him."

I thought it was interesting that she was basically created to fulfill the role of surly pot-stirrer since Wolverine at the time was now a veteran of the team and a leader/father figure on the team. Really anything to shake up what part of the roster is front and center would be welcome.

Marrow is also an interesting one for me. Because I took some time away from comics in the mid 90s and when I came back it felt like this new character was everywhere.
After the redesign during the Alan Davis run she kind of just faded into the background. Maybe she's due for a comeback.

You're right, there certainly are plenty of options. Warlock, Artie, Leech, Mammomax, Forearm, Bling, Darwin, Caliban, Feral.
Nightcrawler could be interesting as the "photogenic" member. Or maybe it could be part of Beast trying a redemption arc. (I'm a couple years behind on X lore curently)

She turned into the Administrator from Team Fortress 2.

If you use the correct pan, all pieces are edge pieces.

I knew I forgot something when I posted this. If anyone sees this and was curious. Moo Deng is sold by Epics N Stuffs and the skull base is by Admiral Apocalypse (In this case I scaled up a 40mm round skull base to 110% to fit better with everyone's favorite baby hippo). Both are on myminifactory.

JONA: Moo Deng. What is best in life?
Moo Deng: To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of their baskets.
