Senator, you may call Europe allies but rest assured nobody considers the US an ally today. The US can't be trusted on trade, human rights, or defence.

Stand up and fight. It is literally your job to look after Californians so you cannot let the orange idiot take control.

AUKUS should be torn up immediately. The US is not our ally. We should not be sharing any military information with them.

It's horrifying watching this from afar. I work for a US company with some great American people - all of whom are embarrassed at what is being allowed to happen. I have to travel to the US for work soon and I'm more than a little nervous about it.

So long as they are not personally affected, then they don't feel the need to act.

We can dream but asking these people to open their mind and accept that other people may be different from them is a huge ask.

Absolutely correct. It is going to take the US decades to recover from this administration.
Right now we can't trust them as an economic partner or as a defence/security partner, and we can't treat them as an ally. They are going to have to earn that trust back.

I drove from Brisbane to Sydney and back pulling my camper trailer and had no issues whatsoever. Apart from the dismally poor road surfaces North of Sydney anyway.

When you read the specific objections, you know these people are completely uneducated on any technology released later than 1980. Really clueless.
As for "no lithium batteries" I'd love to see how they would cope with no lithium batteries.

When people tell me "but the infrastructure" I show them this. This shows only the rapid chargers, not including Tesla Superchargers and not including slower AC chargers. Unless you live in the middle of the desert, it really isn't a problem.

I have had range anxiety once in 5 years of driving an EV and it was entirely my own fault. Every other day I have range confidence - I know exactly what the car is capable of and I know how to find a charger when I need one.

How funny would it be if in response CA just says fuck you and takes away a huge source of federal revenue.

I was thinking exactly the same. Don't be surprised if it happens. He's that petty I reckon.

Every time I visit the US, the drug ads on the TV crack me up.
If you suffer from achy bone syndrome, ask your doctor for Pantheozotol. It will cure your achy bones, tie your shoelaces, and end world hunger.

I can't stand the sight of this guy, let alone when he opens his mouth and a tirade of bullshit flows out. I still can't believe he got elected over Miles.

When can we get to rid of this fuckwit? It's bad enough that people fell for his no-policy bullshit last year. The next state election can't come soon enough.

Have a look at the ethics of the business before investing. Especially what it is doing to VMware partners.
