Oh, I hate the idea of working like that in today’s world, but do you think having to work that way taught you a superpower after doing it enough?

Haha totally! I remember getting AAA Triptiks to help with some of this. Now I use GPS to go to the grocery store 🫣

Looks great! I really like the black tone on yellow look.

It's not as nice as family sharing on other platforms, but for our setup I think it'll be fine (we still might need to buy extra copies of Minecraft and other games the kids play multiplayer). https://www.nintendo.com/us/gaming-systems/virtual-game-cards/

Haha you all beat me to it 😆 I was at a conference and stopped in there the first day just to try it out and then pretty much made it my routine for the next few days.

Also, her name tag came in today, so I think this means we’ll keep her 🐶 #dogs #puppy

If I weren’t leasing my 2022 ID4 I might have kept it a little longer until VW did a big update like Hyundai did with the 2025. I don’t feel like I’m missing anything from the new ID4, but I have this feeling like a facelift with NACS and non-capacitive buttons will happen in the next year or two.

I like their reds. I think the Kings Red on my 2022 was a little warmer, but they are both really close. After testing out that Ioniq 5 I was pretty much set to get another ID4 and I just happened to find one in the area and got a decent deal on it (some money off and 0% APR). I’m liking it so far.

Writing without Lit can be very verbose, but I like that at the end, when writing it with only standards it’s all self-contained. For a bigger component or set of multiple components then I think Lit offers a way to make your component files easier to maintain.

That’s awesome! I think Lit’s great as far as frameworks go (because it stays closer to the spec where it can), but unless you’re using its features then it’s nice to remove that overhead.

Also, on a developer learning point, this includes my first web components that aren’t based on a framework, like Lit. They just didn’t need on or maybe I’m getting more comfortable writing them. #webcomponents

This update comes soon after 5.4, but after thinking about it for a while I landed on how to handle fetch requests from Admin Bar and the rest just followed.

If only CSS had a feature where you can put something (essentially a long rectangle) _after_ an element. 🤔 <- me for like 45 minutes..

This gave me an excuse to use the new color icon feature in 5.7 💅🏻

Just like with the first season, if you get into an episode and you’re not into it, then you’re totally fine bailing on it and moving on. There are definitely a few standout episodes in the other seasons, but I thought this new season was pretty solid.

They don’t usually matter, but this season they have one episode based off of a previous episode. I’d recommend going back a couple seasons to watch the one about the USS Callister first.

I hope your experience was a little easier. I didn’t realize the cone added so much stress, but I think I our case it was a mix of having the cone on, teething, and not being as active while she’s in recovery.

The range on the SEL AWD seems like it’s at the sweet spot and it’s probably the best balance of features for the cost between the trims. Overall I was really impressed with the whole driving experience.

I like the size of the ID.4, but my wife would probably like the ID.3 if it were available here. If we could get it here (and it cost less) I think we’d both go for the ID.7!

Can I ask what trim you have for the 2025? I test drove an SE AWD and they brought out an SEL, but they didn’t have a Limited on the lot to look at. The SEL AWD is probably what I’d get, but I’d have to decide if the smaller size will work for us.
