Most likely not, Honey is very selective with pets! Poppy was a special case of both wanting to become a bat and having the right personality to mesh with Honey. Otherwise Honey keeps a variety of retainers and servants, it's always hiring!

In a canon scenario, Honey would likely be talking to its future pet, Poppy. Poppy is plagued with unwanted suitors, so it's probably someone who was particularly bothering Poppy.

Normally Honey wouldn't eat someone unless that person is an enemy of Honey or one of Honey's family/associates, so you'd get a say!

For me it ironically took forming a strong friendship to make me realize all this. Before, I was just confused as to why I was so miserable trying to please everyone. Discovering platonic love and friendship are as varied as romantic love really blew my mind.

Being able to experience and process positive emotion is still relatively new to me, and being able to understand how something as major as friendship works has really taken a lot of "I must perform, I must do the things, I must say the words" stress away

As I've come to understand friendship as I experience it, I'd say I've got two friends! But I don't want this to come across as an insult to the others I talk to. My positive feelings towards them haven't changed, but as the feelings are not what I've learned friendship is, I call them differently.

My inability to distinguish this mostly just led to situations where I eventually couldn't handle the expectations of what I didn't realize was a one-sided relationship where the other person had a far more extreme investment than my own casual one.

I've had a lot of trouble in my life due to not understanding how most people experience friendship is different from how I do. I've had many occasions where I'd get hit with something along the lines of "I consider you among my most trusted friends" when my regard was still them as an aquantince.

Someone DM'd me on behalf of the person I blocked. I was told told me,"Give them a second chance!" after I had fully explained the situation. What if that wasn't the full situation? What if it was more serious, and I was too afraid to say anything?
