My paternal grandparents are German. Opa fought in the war and actually ended up in a French run POW camp. I have never understood how they could deny what was happening back then. Now I get it. Now I see how they could be so brainwashed. It's terrifying.

If they go along with the corruption, then that gives the administration leverage over them. If found out that they followed these orders, they could be disbarred. That gives the government power to manipulate them on every case after this one. This was absolutely their only option.

Agreed. They essentially *have* to resign because if they go along with this they can lose their license. This is absolutely their last option.

She absolutely can. But no one has done it since Roosevelt was Gov., and honestly, we all know if she does, people will be calling for her head.

I love when the crazies jump on a post like this one. It makes it so easy to block them all in one go. Go back to x or start inhabiting reality

That's going to take a loooong time. I'm just barely middle-class. There is very, very little I can cut from my budget. I already buy store brands and coupon like a mad woman. The number of places we can spend our money is also limited. The vast majority of the populace is in the same boat.

I think the stock market won't react for a very long time. If you have enough money to play in the market, the increased price of eggs or the ending of SS benefits are not affecting you in world-altering ways. It will take a long time for those just below the 1% to feel the pain.

This is my biggest concern. What will it do to my state and the protections I enjoy here, if all of these upstanding AG's replaced by Trump yes men?

Look at the dynamics of this pic! A black man is laughing while a white man threatens him, all while touching the Black man in a dominant/overly familiar way w/o permission. Is this 1864?
Next wld be Tom patting Eric on the head while stating, "But I know he'll be a good boy and do as he's told." 🤢

Reading this is just gut-wrenching. Ironic is definitely the correct word for this whole letter.

So, do you think next time they won't bother with Trump in the room? What's the over/under on it just being President Musk for the next oval office interview?

No, because I don't think the seat is guaranteed to stay blue. But he sure as hell should step aside and let someone with a stiffer backbone take the lead.

Ok, and how long will these suits take to wend their way through the system only to end up in front of an incredibly biased Supreme Court? Lawsuits only work on people willing to follow the law.

So, how many years will it take for this suit to work through the system? Will my great-grandkids get to see the outcome?

I believe this part of the quote from Sen. Tim Kaine deserves more attention:
'adding that he was also concerned about whether there were enough air traffic controllers.'
This is what we need to be talking about NPR. Always just a hair wide of the mark.

I wasn't here then, but was so excited when I started connecting the dots when the show came out. I remember the drones flying around. Big buzz on FB w/everyone wondering what was going on. Biggest thing to happen here since Madison Central School's Home Ec house burned down on Halloween lol
