I used to think that Doctor Who kept me alive. But that’s weird. True though.

I think that was some of the appeal.

I think I had this version, free from a computer magazine.

I saw it at the cinema but missed the first ten minutes.

Quite a lot of people involved in Doctor Who spent a little time in Lancaster!

I was born in Lancaster!

It has strong ‘made on the cheap for afternoon tv promoted to Sunday night’ vibes about it.

Ay up, Womble. I am just starting Europe in Winter by Dave Hutchinson. It’s a while since I read the first two books in the series so I only have half an idea what the story so far is.

I knew my stop motion Thirteenth Doctor in jail series would find a buyer! (It’s called stop motion because it has stopped ok)

My sister used to tell me to ask for “Forton, Hest Bank” when I was getting the bus home from Lancaster. We lived in Forton but I think she was trying to get rid of me.

Good evening, Womble. I’m reading Stephen King’s Hearts in Atlantis. I wondered if you, or any of your followers, had suggestions for similar coming-of-age stories set in 1970s/80s UK?

Won’t it be great when Musk and Trump are forced to share the same gulag

When the TARDIS lights started going out I felt my heart sink.

Unless Anita knew that Rogue was a wrong ‘un and she was disappointed with the Doctor’s choice.
comment in response to post
It felt more weird to me because until the action made it explicit, I had the impression that Anita just liked to see what the Doctor got up to, rather than she was (kind of) stalking him in an unrequited love kind of way. So the reaction to Rogue seemed odd.

I believe, with little experience, that it is possible for a person to have boyfriends and girlfriends. And for people to fall for the wrong people.

I really loved it and, although I hadn’t seen any spoilers, was upset as it accelerated towards the end. I’ve loved the Ncuti Doctor and wasn’t ready for him to go.

I used to get two shots at watching Peter Davison Doctor Who because BBC Wales showed one of the episodes each week on a different night to BBC 1 (England edition)

This made me very sad because I hadn’t been aware of any of the spoilers.

My Alan Yentob story is that I first read about him in Private Eye and assumed that it was a fun nickname for someone called Alan Botney.

I’ve done this. See also licking the plug on a power cable to see if it was connected.
