I am sharing a Palestinian account every day and today are brothers Tarek and Fares. Fares is 19 and hoped to be a data scientist. He was severely injured in a bombing that killed a friend he was helping evacuate. He’s had 7 surgeries. Tarek was studying English translation and is only 22.

Although Assad has fallen, the tragedies in Syria continue. The Syrian National Army, a Turkish proxy force, has captured the city of Manbij and aims to storm Kobane next. Turkey intends to conquer all Rojava and carry out ethnic cleansing there. As in 2019, solidarity actions are urgently needed.
