I tried to donate through Venmo but once it gets back to GFM it fails. Is it working for you?

It really is. Like, wildflower honey? I could and have guzzled it from the container.

The letter warned the firings could politicize the military and deter talented Americans from serving.

BTW authors, I have like two tables unclaimed, so if you have books to sell onsite and can hang out with us for five hours on Saturday, ping me and I can share the details!

It writes itself at this point. You wouldn't believe this if it were fiction.

She really is. I also blame Jimmy Fallon for Trump's first election win -- the hair tousle made him seem approachable.

I mean, you can literally see it on his face, his microexpressions and reactions are all wrong for the situations he's in. He's terrifyingly unconnected to humanity.

I've been sitting with this since you posted it and I really like it. It's fantastic. He sounds like he was a great Dad.

I think he's trying to cut off our favorite exit plan. Just about everyone I know who can't stands him has a mental "We'll move to Canada" safety contingency. Hell, most of us have actually looked into it.

I totally believe this. How do they all know and act at once? After I found out about the 70K rapist group chat, I believe a lot of things that I never thought would be true.

I love this so much. I also try to spend money locally although I do have an unfortunate reliance on Target as I've weened myself off Amazon. I've been really using the Buy Nothing Group a lot, mostly to offload but we did get some fresh basil two years ago.

Yeah, 10M does seem just like seed money not really viable for long lasting sustainability. Although in theory it would earn interest for a time?

Ooooh yeah, long lines. Sometimes I don't care because I'm listening to an audio book, but if it's for, say, coffee or something, clearly they are overclocked and I'd be just adding to the staff's strain. I don't need coffee that badly.

Early flights. I used to take the earliest flight possible because they were generally cheaper and also, it maximized my time at the destination, but especially when flying west, it just maximized my jet lag/exhaustion. Also I hate flying so I'm not making it more miserable.

Same! I have decided that it's not MY fault that they have provided a chair that would be uncomfortable but tolerable for people with a BMI under 30. If I don't say something, then they never know to change it.

I had a discussion with fellow authors on my Monday night Thing We Do on Zoom last night about this and the overwhelming consensus is that maybe Not Writing is what your inner guide needs most right now, and it's a form of selfcare.
