The Archers Quiz Book (2020). It also shows the location of Ambridge View. But not the charging station. #TheArchers

Beechwood is number 39, at the bottom of the map just below Bridge Farm. That puts it in the field on the Magnetic North map that is shown containing a pond. #TheArchers

Yes, Rhys and Fallon dated back in 2012/2013. Absolutely no reason to believe that this is the same person though. #TheArchers

Thank you, Simon, and the same to you.

Here’s the Magnetic North version. If anything is canonical, it is, with updates covered by the Quiz Book (e.g. Ambridge View.) #TheArchers

I’m going by the map in the Quiz Book which has The Bull next to the Village Hall. That said, the Magnetic North map has three houses between them, but no sign of a car park. #TheArchers

The Bull has the Village Hall immediately on its right hand/North side and Woodbine Cottage (home to Fallon and Harrison) on its left hand/South side. The latter are not obvious complainers, so maybe it’s the Village Hall committee? #TheArchers

It’s one of the great joys about speculating about unheard things in #TheArchers that it’s not rape or adultery or poor farming practices because it’s not real.

You certainly can blame him, but I suspect you would be doing so unfairly. I think much of that has been post SOC. #TheArchers

Very different. But both involve large amounts of good food. #TheArchers

Yes. Sean O’Connor decided to make #TheArchers into the Rob and Helen show. He ditched promising long-term storylines like Bethany Tucker, and ignored the need to keep having births, marriages and deaths to sustain the village. It left TA less well equipped to handle COVID than it might have been.

I will definitely be there. Happy to encourage a @dumteedum.bsky.social mini meet up before or after a performance. #TheArchers

When asked about the Gills on a recent podcast which shall not be named (because it’s not @Dumteedum ), the editor of #TheArchers responded “Watch this space.” So they may be turning up soon.

Since taking over as co-host of the @Dumteedum podcast I have had to concentrate harder on listening to #TheArchers, leaving me somewhat unable to tweetalong about it.

Tetchy? Maybe I was just in a bad mood? Anyway. My approach is to pick an Archers feed. But I haven’t been very active on BlueSky recently, unless summoned like this. #TheArchers

You say “without help from AI,” but that might not be how the final edit turns out… #TheArchers

I think that there would have to have been a reason for setting up a partnership. But I don’t recall Tom’s marriage or the birth of N&S triggering any such discussion. And it would be a lot of fuss for a pretty small farm. #TheArchers

He went to Ibiza with Freddie and fell in with some people looking for a crew to sail a yacht to Uruguay(?) He is now sailing the seas as the Dread Pirate Phillips. #TheArchers

That will be Ruairí’s role. Johnny might make his fortune and come back as a distributor of largesse. It would make a change. #TheArchers

I don’t remember it being an issue with Helen’s divorce, unlike with Alice’s. That suggests she doesn’t own any of the farm. #TheArchers
comment in response to post
The only complicating factor is Johnny, but I think he may have walked away from farming for good, so while he might be left something in Pat or Tony’s will, it won’t be part of the farm. #TheArchers

Bridge Farm itself is a small family farm (c.60ha) and doesn’t seem to have any corporate structure. So it’s owned by Pat and Tony, with Helen and Tom likely to inherit 50/50 in due course. Natasha has no “share” in any BF business and none of them have any share in Summer Orchard. #TheArchers

Unfortunately I seem to be blocked from seeing the post that started this discussion, but as @jbertho.bsky.social says, we treat all caller-innerers with complete respect. The same may not apply to the likes of George Grundy, though. #TheArchers

No, I was thinking of the week when he first showed up. I don’t actually buy the Radio Times so I do not know who was on the cover. #TheArchers

Far too sweet. It needs some lemon or lime juice to balance the cherry. #TheArchers
