The weirdest thing about Americans embracing Nazism or the Confederacy in the name of patriotism is that actual American patriots fought *against* both of those movements and won decisively. You’re celebrating a loser movement.

On an AA flight that landed at JFK waiting for a gate. Two littles were crying because of their ear pain on landing. After a couple minutes the flight attendant started singing *Twinkle Twinkle little star’, the entire plane joined in, the kids stopped crying, and this is the world I wanna live in.
