If youāre looking for a good solid budget mic, audio-technica at-2021ās have done me right both for recording music and stream. They have a pretty flat response so it is very easy to EQ how you want it to sound. Comes in USB and XLR connections as well and both are good.

Definitely going to rock some pinstriping next time I do painted glazes! Iām so used to doing dip glazes from another studio that i never considered how hard an even line is to freehand. Thatās actually how the turquoise one wound up fully glazed š

Thank you! I tried to freeform the line and I see what you mean! Iām gonna try either taping off the edge next time with some pinstriping tape or making a faux-drip on the outside. I think drippy was what I was hoping for, but ancient jasper is new to me :) love a good experiment

Thanks for the kind words and thought! Someone else pointed out the line consistency and I realized this one lives in this weird sort of ānot drippy enough to look intentionalā and ājust uneven enough to look a little too freeformā
