Interesting to watch the speech from Trump this morning about DeepSeek. Hoping this encourages the AI hype train to move more towards an open source way to benefit everyone instead of trying to lock it away through expensive hardware and subscriptions.

Tip of the day: if you want a sofa/ chair and don’t want to pay full price. Charity shops such as the British Heart Foundation sell furniture for a fraction of the cost of new. Currently sat on a lovely leather sofa that cost me £50 4 years ago! They even delivered it as part of the cost.

Tip of the day: if you are in the UK the cheapest legitimate price for electronics can be beaten further. If it is more expensive at Richer Sounds they not only match the price but also beat it by up to £100. You don’t need to call even there is an online form.
