Trump has consistently worked for this result, that words have no meaning. The firehose of falsehoods is a fundamental Russian disinformation strategy. Does the world economic system collapse when everyone concludes they can trust no one other than those they see regularly and face to face?

Soon, polls will not matter. Nor will elections. Once DJT has loyalty more pervasively implanted, he's not going anywhere. He *will* deploy military against Americans. Just remember, he did a trial run in his first term.

Anyone who got their info from outside of the Murdoch et al echo chamber saw all of this coming. DJT wants to be king. With the military he has at his disposal and the immunity the SC granted him, he's close to achieving it. Sucks for we who want democracy.

It's time to stop the outage over DJT's disrespect for everything that's not him. He has gotten what he wanted: his voters saved him from prison, the presidency gives him total power to use violence, and the Supreme Court has given him immunity from abusing his power. We have a dictator in office.

Protests tomorrow. Go.

The cruelty is incidental. The move itself is part of a plan in which incidental cruelty is not a consideration.

It'd be nice if a billionaire or two could prioritize getting our democracy back over making money.

I'm waiting for these specific incidents events are no longer the focus. Because it misses the forest. The forest is the story. The story is the death of the rule of law.

Trump is actively and intentionally creating "cause" to deploy troops against Americans.

They don't seem to understand that we buy more from other countries than they buy from us because we have more money. DJT is hard at work fixing that.

They were guys cheerleaders putting him there. Now they're crying little babies over lost money, perhaps coming to a realization that they've empowered a power hungry madman who has complete immunity. They should be scared.

Lining up for seats in the oligarchy. Won't work here. Anarchy on the way? French revolution in America? The spark for cleaning house for real? Or another spectator sport where the spectators are the losers?

Collaborators.

They're afraid of being pushed even further down the totem pole of oligarch rankings.

Everyone has a smartphone with tiktok and YouTube. How much actual thought, much less action, can be expected?

Excellent argument. Outstanding, and true.

They want to remain part of the oligarchic system more than they value the rule of law. Pathetic.

How good did the Bars do in the lawyers who aided Trump's attack on democracy (the coup attempt)? It seems they're much more inspired to go after attorneys who commingle funds.

Who are you talking to? Or are you dreaming aloud?
comment in response to post
Statements and remarks. Blah blah blah. I agree with your opposition, but the time for talk is long gone.

The worst is yet to come. But the only thing anyone is doing about it is whining.

I for one will hope the same for Trump.
comment in response to post
Why should he? The real question is, What will it take to remove him?

Sean Ryan said in one of his podcasts that if it gets rough in this country he'd take his family to Portugal. Now that's patriotism.
