I'm on your side. But boycotting needs to be permanent; otherwise, it's not an effective strategy. Boycotting Target permanently is different than postponing Monday's gas purchase to Tuesday.

What you will be proving to Big Oil is that these boycotts are empty. If consumers don't fuel up on Monday, then they'll just fuel up on Tuesday. When Wednesday's bottom line shows the same net profit, it just confirms that consumers are addicted to oil and are unwilling to break their addiction.

Recession is coming, and it's gonna be a deep one. No surprise that consumer sentiment is tanking when u arbitrarily fire 100s of thousands of federal workers, renege on govt contracts that support 100s of thousands of other workers, and impose crippling, random tarrifs that explode inflation.

Musk is compiling a database of all federal workers, their security clearance level, what they do, their home addresses, SSNs, contact info, family member info. Wouldn't our country's enemies love to have that info.

Does everyone understand what a crazy security threat this is? Musk already has the names, security clearance levels, SSNs, addresses, emails, etc of all federal workers. Now he'll be getting a description of what each worker does. Our country's enemies must be drooling to get this database.

There's an organization called America 250 that is organizing nationwide celebrations of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. america250.org

This is pointless. Drivers will simply shift their purchase to another day that week. The net impact will be zero. It you're serious about no fuel, then take public transportation, carpool, or ride a bike.

Sure, there are layoffs in the private sector. But private sector management doesn't publicly mock, denigrate and deliberately terrorize its workforce.

Does everyone understand what a compounding security threat this is? Elon Musk already has the names, SSNs, addresses, family member info, etc of all federal workers. Now he'll be getting a description of what each federal worker does. Our country's enemies must be drooling to get this database.

Clinton didn't cut indiscriminately and didn't use email to mock and terrorize federal workers.

Lots of C words to describe this shitshow: Collusion Corruption Coup Craziness

None of this shitshow would be possible if there were term limits in Congress. Congress has the authority to end this nightmare, but cowardly Repubs care only about their primary elections.

Our country's enemies must be drooling over getting a list of all US federal workers and a description of what they do...

Congress could kick him to the curb, but doesn't.

Responses to tyranny: Nathan Hale, "I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country." Repubs in Congress, "but I might lose my Primary."
