Hi, I’m curious about how other people working in #journalism right now have been able to find archived old versions of government agency websites to compare to new post Trump/Musk era ones. I’m familiar with internet archive but haven’t searched it for anything other than entertainment.

I think this is a key divide. A lot of us hate the same stuff. It’s just some of us hate it for being “extreme” while others like me hate it for just being a hypocritical front.

So #filmsky please settle this dispute: is The Wicker Man (1973), a film I enjoy btw, a musical? (My answer is yes)

one thing that is actually pretty cool about right now is how both Bill and Ted turned out to be excellent humans

I recently saw Guardians 3. I’m noticing an irony that people consider Gunn a “lighter” director than Snyder when his comic book movie work idarker in terms of emotional themes than Snyder’s. The art direction hides it. He brings in cute fluffy animals… only to have them suffer agonizing grief.

I really love this stuff. Makes you realise people are still people, no matter how distant in the past they lived.
