Alright folks, we know youβve seen him.
The last SEVEN hours volunteers and ourselves have been doing circles, waiting, watching and no sighting of this sweet doggo just on the outside of Regina. Heβs on Fleet st. Between the dump and the coop Cardlock/sgi

I did hear it, the hail especially, but it being SK I just though it was another bad storm. If I'd have known a tornado was nearby I'd have put the van in the garage at least and saved it from being scrapped.

I had a perfectly good BLU phone prior to Samsungs, but Canada's emergency alert system didn't work on it, and a tornado missed us by a few kms and I never knew about until afterwards. It did trash my van though with hail. So I bought something that was on the list π πͺοΈ

Note, a lot of people are going out of their way to ask about Canadian content, and avoiding American ones. Everything from milk to phone cases, cars, etc. Even if trump changes his mind again, this isn't going to go away anytime soon. I want Black and Decker back here as well.

Nice, thanks. I love browsing these old maps or atlases

paywalled again. π One of these days someone will figure out that most people can't afford to buy more than one 'paper' every morning. Embed an ad in the column somewhere like it was a hardcopy. But they want to track you too, and sell that data. π

Been a while since I've seen that. Kind of dated due to the male chauvinism, even as a parody it's awfully cringe-worthy these days.

In 1837 it was a fight against corruption by local politicians. Local as in not in Great Britain but Upper and Lower Canada. The Family Compact in Upper Canada (Ontario). Cronyism, bribery, theft...all the hallmarks of similar premiers today.

Also in winter, frozen eggs are an absolute bitch to try to clean off.
Goose eggs are bigger and possibly less expensive. Just saying.

This guy. Although not Canadian, neither we were back then either, technically.

What gets me are the lack of protests. No million person marches. No boycotts, nothing (hardly) π’
USA goes out with a whimper? Or is some just waiting to grab the purple?
Another Sulla? (legibus faciendis et rei publicae constituendae causa) dictator for making laws and restoring the Republic

Old project. Keeps rearing it's ugly head. It's not possible anymore. The water levels are far too low now. It's not 1960 anymore. And it's just plain stupid. USSR tried the same thing with disastrous results.

I say we adopt the US West Coast under BC. And maybe some of the New England states.
Generally the people are good, they just have bad governments, and too much belief that the system will fix it. But there are no protests worth mentioning, none. No million people marches, there should be.

Oh it will end, everything does. I just hope it goes like the old USSR did, relatively quietly. Of course the people in the country are going to starve π No one is backing up the institutions and no one is trying really to save the country either. Waiting for someone to grab the purple.

Same π’ The heat hasn't helped either. Try to put out bee water bowls on the ground for them. Shallow bowls with rocks in them so they can climb out if they fall into the drink. You'll have to change the water every day though, not a big deal. I have to change the dog water bowls anyhow

Yeah, still using UT 99 because it rocks, and there are SO many free maps out there. But the bots sometimes just sit there and let you snipe them away.

And doctors, please, if we tell you this new med or whatever is hurting us, take our word for it. We don't make up stuff like that just for attention. If you don't know, ask an expert in that medical field (and my GP did just that. She's good, she listens) Doctors send e-letters that get results.

It was more like 4 weeks here, but yeah, even a moderately efficient house like ours, all the frigging doors and windows are frozen shut. I had to chip ice away so I could get out of the house. And moe wants to get rid of higher standards...of course. These people really mean to kill us off.

At our Coop, in southern SK, redneck central, people aren't buying American products. They've got sale signs on all the American goods, and no takers.
That's how bad it is.
There's a small percentage who love trump, but most do not, not even here, and he's pissed us off, and SK have a long memory

I don't know if you were around when they wanted Canada to have nuclear submarines. Spent tons of money on that, even just on manuals and promotion. Then they just cancelled it.

5 billion would cover the planning, and that's about all. Realistically for the Toronto/Montreal route it's going to be at least 20 times that, probably more.
