Yeah, I'm hearing it from the not MAGA brained conservatives now too.
I'm not surprised, I was in middle school on 9/11 and after that was full mask off. I've always heard the way conservatives talk about other folks, I just didn't think we were far along enough to openly cleanse "the weak" yet.

I'm really worried that's the actual plan, but that's the majority of their base, which is scary as hell not just for folks like me who live here but for the idea that they don't care to torch their base. They plan on still controlling things after.

Killing off medicaid and destroying rural hospitals is a great way to decrease the number of MAGA voters for the next round. RFK is trying to get disease back in the water, which should spread a solid outbreak soon. Hmmmm, I wonder what's up?

I get why Heavy Rain gets all that hate, but I also get why it's on the best games list. I will also say that Demons Souls is probably only on their in retrospect because of Dark Souls.

Why the hell would millennials be scared? Its been old establishment creeps stealing from us sense we turned 18. A guy our age who understands that computers exist and jobs don't? Christ's motorcycle, we're finally getting some people our age inside!

The failure of the DNC isn't misunderstanding, its sabotaging anyone who tries to deliver on their promises because they're owned by the same people the GOP are. What's happening to David Hogg right now is proof of that.

I'm going to push back just a bit here and point out that the idea that it's a D&D game is implied more than once:

Hey, even if you're not rich you can always be proud you *checks notes* seized control of the flagship franchise of a major movie studio and scuttled it by making a 3 and a half hour video pointing out it's flaws?

As decent people started to leave Twitter, the number of them left there have drawn all of the harassment from those that were spread out. They're trying to leak over to blue sky but because it's not controlled by Nazis the leak is slow and manageable.

There are a bunch of people talking shit in your comments and sighting small fries getting beat up by fascist while the big fish do nothing. Stick to your guns, you're exactly right.

Prehistoric Crazy-Bus Death Ride was just smashing a toy bus full of dinosaurs into the wall while feeling sort of bored and unfulfilled. I could no longer connect to my toys in a way that allowed me to participate in the experience."

"I played out all the same story lines that had been fun before, but the meaning had disappeared. Horse's Big Space Adventure transformed into holding a plastic horse in the air, hoping it would somehow be enjoyable for me.

What sucks is they absolutely would not be marching if it wasn't against trump. Hell, we aren't even marching against genocide and deportation, we're marching against active in house fascism. And fascism is so easy to do because the US doesn't care about it until it hurts the US.

Protest without disruption is like masturbating and expecting to get pregnant. It feels good and even looks similar, but you're not in the right place and haven't put in the effort to make things happen.

Also, as someone who's politics agree with the government seizing control of utility companies, I find modern leftists have difficulty with the prevalence of the people. They want everyone to be a rational actor and don't know how to cope with the fact that a huge wedge of the population aren't.

So, their both correct, but Bob punched through the noise to the underlying problem. A problem that can't be solved, only lessened, by making life better for people are who are willing to use their one wish to wish you don't get a wish.

Okay, I see what happened. For those following, Carl was trying to site a nuanced take on why Gen-Z might have voted for Trump and how economic anxiety makes reactionaries.
And Bob pointed out that if their dumb enough to be reactionaries they were probably bullies and assholes to start with.

In the end, all art is bad slop that serves no greater purpose... except connect with people on a human level...
So anyway, I'm going to keep clinging to sanity by watching nihilistic animation and whatever terrible edge lord (ie fucking awesome) movie I get recommended next.

The episode not only dissects coming out and the different ways we experience life and growth, it also expands upon how discussions around topics like this are had. In my opinion you could literally use it as a primer for all of your other material.

Exactly, it's not like he was collaborating. And yes, in the end the creeps will cut up an interview to sound right so you have to be careful. But if young people never hear a dissenting opinion they march merrily down the pipeline of "That's just how it is."
