Your butt is getting parallel to your knees, depth is fine I think!

Nice! Yeah it's a lot to do all stakes all decks and a lot more all together for all the stickers. Game is just so fun though, I enjoyed doing all of it

There was a lot of just squeaking by the ante 8 boss, and a lot of "well I easily make 1e9, but I have no path to scale past that" because of eternals or low economy or bad deck fixing / planet leveling

Some (like this run with the double brainstorm and the Wee) I ran until the wheels fell off (ante 14 in this case), but if it wasn't a setup that had ante 10+ promise I would just go next after beating 8. That's the gate check for the stickers: what jokers you have when you beat the ante 8 boss

Hitting πŸ’―% joker stickers has been a multi week effort though after getting πŸ’―% deck stakes. Anaglyph was the MVP with double tags and negative tags

It was up over 4000 chips by the end of the run. I think I had brainstorm x2 from an invisible, hack, and the negative wee by Ante 3. Feels like cheating XD

Hoping @cloud9.gg has something to say about that

As someone who recently got laid off and is looking at navigating the "marketplaces", it couldn't be more obvious to me single payer universal healthcare would save money and free Americans up to be more innovative. It's worth fighting for. Thank you for doing so

It is kinda one of those "I'm a snake, I bite, what did you expect" moments. And also wtf does it even mean to rescind an endorsement after an election? Like he's already elected, what do you expect to change hereπŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

I probably take the losses hardest of my family, but I have worked to be a lot less emotionally invested than I have been. Frustrating to see them peter out this hard when they played a lot better at times, but still pretty charmed season overall to go this far with Sam freakin Darnold

I like the strategy to use feature flags and keep a branch for merging (maybe not main so you can keep prod reflecting the main branch). Probably also good to communicate w/ business there needs to be chill & thaw periods around the freeze to let things come in slowly and not rush everything in
comment in response to post
This was an interesting thread to read through, and pretty validating I think that most answers are "it's just hard, so avoid the situation if you can, keep things merging". Holiday breaks are a perfectly reasonable time to deploy freeze to give actual humans a break from heavy prod support.

Yes that one too, it was one of the most creeped out I've ever felt playing a game in the best way. Very cool and unique

You didn't even mention the best ones! Monument valley, into the breach, and both Golden Idol games

Also played it today as I have most days since I got it πŸ˜† it's very good

Indeed, and intentionally so. The unsettling weirdness really makes the show I think.

Well in the hopes of brightening your day, I very much enjoyed your contestant run in the 2000's when I was playing trivia in high school, I love Half Truth, and I'm very glad you took the job hosting Jeopardy! Hope you had a great holidays

As a manager I really appreciated when senior folks would do this, as is set a good example and was also a forcing function for learning. We*have* to do this without X person, so let's figure it out!

Yeah the tools to mute notifications are pretty easy to do, what stops most folks is either forgetting (set a calendar reminder) or fear (will my boss get mad?). You can conquer the second by being explicit about your intent to fully shut off and seeking feedback proactively to know you're good

The first time I got to use css grid I was surprised it was much easier for me compared to Twitter bootstrap, but even still this tool made it a breeze.
