I'm guessing they will orchestrate ways to deport anyone they want at any time (journalists and dissenters, for example) despite one's citizenship. This is probably just a warm up?

Gotta call out Democratic party corruption, then, yeah?
AIPAC rules the party's policy and is a big part of the reason trump is in office (AGAIN).

We all saw how the Democratic party threw Trans people and Muslims under the bus, proclaiming "now is not the time" so they lost votes. Thank god that Florida dems are fighting, but it's not indicative of the party as a whole.
We all saw what Dem influencers were saying during the leadup.

But this conversation and the responses to generative AI increasingly looking like a return to analog practices and handwritten materials. Ai is a knowledge killer and understanding this is key to living forward responsibly.

This is what democrats call a "fringe issue" unable to conceive of what this is building toward.

When I see a story about a tourist or an immigrant subjected to sadistic cruelty at the hands of the US government, my mind flashes back to the feelings of vulnerability provoked by Midnight Express. I've often thought of that film as I traveled to *other* countries. That exceptionalism is gone.

Many seem to resist a trump-bootlicking hamster as leader, thank goodness.

So glad he lost his seat, too. What a useless empty person with absolutely zero charisma or charm.

I've always thought it could also be a trojan horse for eventually removing all women's rights.
These fascists are demonic, just the most awful people.

They only think of themselves and their popularity, even though I can't imagine who still respects these smug elitists.

People fleeing horrible situations for what's supposed to be the beacon of freedom, just to realize it's a trap.

Is this some teenager's parody account? Could Hakeem really be this jokey and juvenile about what they're allowing trump to do? Kids in court without lawyers or parents, citizens snatched off streets by unmarked people in balaclavas, tanking the economy, crushing free speech.
Useless dems.

This will mean that the more "antisemitism" is fought by this administration, the more Jews will be endangered.
Real antisemitism will be encoded as allowable. The far right antisemites in power will gain even more power. And the Jews will be blamed for the crackdown.
Perfect combo for fascists.

As I've said many times: Antisemitism accusations are the tip of the spear of the fascist invasion.
It is the one device they were able to use effectively pre-election, so now they have a precedent to use it at will.
This is neither minor nor a side issue. It is the main method to silence dissent.

this antivax stuff is genuinely bewildering. like what do you mean you don’t know if vaccines are safe? why exactly do you think child mortality rates have plummeted since the beginning of the 20th century? why is it that you are not worried about getting polio or smallpox anymore?

In one of her final posts on X, Virginia Giuffre called out the Trump administration for its failure to release the Epstein files as promised, tagging Trump, Musk, Bondi, Vance, Patel, and the NY office of the FBI.
