How much worse does he get before the 25th is activated? His mind is oatmeal and getting worse.

I felt like Biden was an utter ass for not delegating it to someone who did have the competence to handle the assassination attempt. I mean investigation of every detail AND communicating it to the public.

In other words I doubt this cop deliberately charged through the crowd. Sure he was swinging his stick and acting generally aggressive and obnoxious, but his problem is he's not competent as a horseman. He lost control

I can tell you from my younger days, horses are very aware of their rider, his mental and emotional state, and take cues from that. I think this one was spooked because his rider was terrified, and furthermore didn't trust nor respect the rider and did what he thought he needed to.

Thanks 👍

I believe that's not a mere accident of incompetence. Whichever shithead is handling the DOD social media, they know full well what the Russian flag is and this is deliberate.

Actually that was from Hawley himself, quoted by major news sources.
comment in response to post
Lol. Hawley has submitted a bill, but he expects REPUBLICANS to kill it in the House and knows that neither the REPUBLICAN Senate nor Trump will allow it. You got suckered by weak propaganda if you think Democrats are blocking minimum wage
comment in response to post
So, take your word for it is the source? Ok then, why should anyone take your word on it?

I agree, but I'm positive I saw many bumper stickers last year, and the year before. Now, you don't even see biking, hiking, ironman or whatever stickers. I suspect they're all seen in political context and everyone's afraid of it.

Mike Johnson should be expelled. That has to be over the line, if there is any red line in Congress. Letting it pass only reinforces our widespread disgust with Congress, and Democrats are tarred with the same brush.
comment in response to post
Can you source that please? The Republican efforts to raise the minimum wage, that is.
comment in response to post
I expect that Republicans won't care. They only need second class citizens to exploit and white folks will serve as well as any. Perhaps even preferred given the fundamental racism of Republicans.

That's exactly why I think it was calculated and deliberate from day 1. Biden thought it would be an easy win, for himself and Congress, as long as he kept the criminal clown in play and in control of the Republican Party.

I don't think Garland was Biden's biggest mistake. The dumbest maybe, but we'd have still gotten past Trump were it not for his other mistakes.

Why is it that only the bad guys have goons? Hire some security for crying out loud!

The value of massive protests far outweighs the harm of helping the dictator find a pretext. He can always find a pretext, from his current lies about violence to videos from years ago. It's not worth the concern.

And in his own words, he needs no justification to send US Marines into any state. "The bar? The bar is what I say it is".

More than anything, Trump is preparing an actual war, a shooting war, against California. The placement of troops mimics what Putin did in the Donbas of Ukraine, placing forces prior to the escalation to an invasion.

National Guard troops deployed in Los Angeles, else they wouldn't be there. They know they're in LA to crack down for a dictator, and they know it's illegal.

Raiding parties, steal it. These are not decent people.

That really isn't a force preparing to deal with armed rebellion or rising violence from the population, is it?
comment in response to post
"Seems excessive" and "raises questions", which is Collins-speak for "I want you to think we're giving this careful consideration but I'm totally on board with it"
comment in response to post
Does the President ALSO need to explain his legal justification? Because his offhand explanation doesn't appear to satisfy any exception to the Constitutional prohibition to his deployment of the National Guard.

Correct, and furthermore their citizenship is a matter between them, the US government, and their employer. It's nobody else's damn business.
comment in response to post
It goes both ways. Governor Newsome could technically have Trump arrested for violations of California state laws

I think they will have to specifically identify the alleged officer, prove that he's actually an officer, prove that the officer was actually trying to enforce a law, and that Huerta actually did impede him. I think they will fail in each of these.

Protests ARE rebellions against the illegally assumed authorities of this Administration. There is nothing illegal nor unpatriotic about rebelling against unconstitutional and statutorily illegal authority.

I hope they're dead even and kill each other. Figuratively speaking 😉

June 14 will forever be our day of shame and national humiliation.
