I noticed that as well, Starmer actually seemed more rattled by Davey than Badenoch or Flynn.
I think it's because Davey's 'more in sorrow than in anger' approach is much harder to dismiss out of hand, and because his questions are hitting nearer the bone on genuinely difficult topics.
