I used to visit a model and war games shop in Portsmouth called Southsea Models that started stocking RPGs. Long gone for decades now!

100%. The UK has an amazing, creative and long-standing gaming community but our convention scene is relatively poor compared to the US. I've already put this one in my diary.

Initially I was seduced by digital, ditched all my CDs, DVDs, etc but I now bitterly regret being beholden to Netflix, Spotify and the like. Steadily rebuilding my Blu-Ray and vinyl collections.

100% agree. My mini painting ability has declined as my eyesight has but I still get them to the table for a game, and I enjoy seeing quality painting now more than ever.
