Streetcars are cute, but expensive & inefficient. One breaks down, the line is out! Rail maint? Out for a year. Buses: cheaper, same capacity, more FLEXIBLE. TTC claims BRT moves 12K people; many do over 40K hour, more than any TO subway. Do cities want 'cute' or citywide transportation systems?
