It's so true. Any tariff fees will, ultimately, be passed on to the end consumer. Your only options are to vote differently next time, consume less, or be proud that you chose to pay more for your daily expenses because it's the MAGA way of doing business..

This is good, but one must add some cauliflower and carrots to the mix. My top tier veggie is pan seared Brussel sprouts in a quality olive oil with salt, pepper, and a nice sprinkle of parmesan or cotija cheese.

It was my hope that many of these criminals can be pursued for alternate charges associated with the myriad of crimes committed on that date and preceding Jan 6.

Beautiful shot. Did you have a mouse on your head to trick the owl to look straight at you?

Beautiful composition. Moraine Lake is such an awesome, serene location. It was so much better than Lake Louise. I was shocked at the $140/hr canoe rental rate, but was grateful to be in this space last year.

I'm a tree-hugging, wish-cycling (aka recycling) pragmatist. There are times I want to hide in an off-grid solar and wind powered homestead just to make myself feel better.

He was worried about unauthorized people within USA borders, but released known violent criminals. Commander in hypocritical acts.

It's been more than 24 hours since he took office and the war continues. Looks like someone told an "alternative truth" about ending the war.

I agree. Money is the driving force. Individual consumers are narrowminded and tend to think about the money spent on a day to day basis. If we take the more mature long term look at money... we'll spend so much less in the long run if we pursue large scale changes. All nations need to be all-in.

I work with people who are addicted to prescription opiates every day. The healthcare system failed after the pharmaceutical industry put gas in their tank. Providing compassionate care to someone who believes the only answer is increasing doses of medication can be a great challenge.

True... there would be no immediate change on the weather. Our individual choices do affect climate change in a meaningful measurable way. The greatest impact would be on the proliferation of public policy that acknowledges existence and supports solutions to this slow rolling worldwide disaster.

Stay home. The southern states lack the infrastructure to sand/brine/plow/clear the roads to make them safe.

Fires in California, snow in Houston.... things that should make you go Hmmmmm. Unfortunately the people living in the mirror reality won't see the correlation with climate change.

When the president chants "drill baby drill," the Saudi oil industry would expectedly want to have a piece of the pie.
