Remember when I said Hoyo wasn’t going to sign that document would end up recasting instead. Well it seems the started doing that. Everyone warn this was what would happen. But none of you wanted to listen.

This was reason Hoyo eventually replace Formosa with another agency. So the VAs wouldn’t run into issues of not being paid. They even help some VAs like paimon’s VA find a new agency.

Source is that you guys getting recast you can see this in the latest update to hoyo titles. But hey doesn’t affect me when you get recast. The ones that get hurt by it is you VAs. Who chose to not work.

To be honest entire thing going to go no where. We all already know what the end result of this strike these VAs keep labeling it as will end. From what been happening lately in terms of VAs being recast in lot of Hoyo titles that where part of this “strike”.

Going to be honest with you, players are not the most forgiving. If you do something wrong, you can be well ashore; they will not let you forget it within the community. The last thing companies want is a VA that ends up having a bad reputation with their player base.

While some VAs might lash out at the players and fans of these communities, do note that these players and fans are also the ones who support you even outside of games. This could be from conventions or through streams.

Another thing is you're all afraid of being replaced by AI, but all the replacements are just other VAs. Hoyoverse already has to follow china's strict AI laws. Yes, Hoyoverse isn't going to sign that agreement, as we can already see from them already recasting VAs with new VAs.

First off SAG Strike doesn't involve non-union companies like HoYoverse. This has already been confirmed by another VA. What VAs are doing is refusing to work which at the end of the day the company has every right to remove them as they pay for a service that is not being provided.

Everyone was on your side for AI Protection until some of you went a attacked another VA which made people going and dig into SAG more. Hoyo has no issue signing a studio that has AI protection. Not to mention Hoyo parent company already has to follow china strict AI protection laws.

Make sense especially with a lot of these Social platforms doing all this AI stuff. It is expected a lot of artists will try to look for a site that is not going to feed their work to AI. That or they just didn't like certain rules and guidelines of another platform.
