I took my brother out this afternoon so we could spend some time together. We went to lunch, bummed around, hit up a few stores--I even splurged on myself a fair bit. I had a good time, and he seemed to as well.

Frieren: Beyond Journey's End is on Netflix now. I've only watched the first three episodes so far, but the best way I can describe it is that it's like wrapping my heart in a blanket, patting me on the head, and telling me that it's gonna be okay.

When I was around ten years old or so, I recall getting a book of short science fiction stories, and I never finished reading the thing. I can't remember why--maybe it lost my interest, was too far over my head, or some other reason lost to time.
