If that's the case, then you & the CBC haven't take care to 1. convey what the show will actually be about, 2. frame the Q properly, 3. read the room, 4. respect listeners.

Canadians are overwhelmingly against being annexed by the US. The small percentage who are in favour are largely confused about what that would mean, or outright bigots. If the CBC both sides this thing they inevitably spread misinformation and, very likely, hate.
