Such a shame that a left party hasn’t emerged in the same vein as reform, I voted greens at the last GE but they don’t disrupt and make themselves seen enough.

Labour pretend that AI (deskilling), new technology (job cuts) and reform (privatisation) will solve our problems What we really need is a fair distribution of wealth

Reap/sow update just dropped.

I’ve reported on homelessness for years and met many, many people who have found themselves in awful situations Every single one of them had more decency and integrity than this privileged plutocrat

I’m worried they’re going to kill him because his trial may reveal the virtue of his motives on a wider scale. It will become a mainstream conversation on how capitalism murders poor people. It will be the most honest — and therefore the most dangerous — thing on US TV.

Rest well (can't imagine how fast the new york times had to shut this down)

TODAY’S UNREQUESTED ADVICE …is it good advice? did you like it? Give it a 💙and please RP😘😘

For those confused about South Korea, an “opposition party” is a political party that actively opposes the one in power.

Thought for the day.

If you bring central London to a halt to campaign against catastrophic climate change you're treated as a "barmy" eco "fanatic" who deserves to be locked up. But if you do the same to hang on to your multimillion pound inheritance tax exemption then you're a brave freedom fighter defying the odds

Reminder that disabled people have no obligation to consume assisted dying media. You don’t have to read posts about how someone would kill themselves if they were like you. You have no duty to be polite when they say we cost too much. Your mental health matters. Your life does too.

“Direct action is, ultimately, the defiant insistence on acting as if one is already free.” — David Graeber

100%

Just incredibly bleak that when a Labour government is finally in power, disabled people still have to wake up to front pages calling them a blight on society.

FAO: A lot of media. RE: The Labour Party 👇🏼

This post from the PM is problematic for a number of reasons. A thread…🧵

Driving a tractor at police officers because you don’t want to pay inheritance tax is fine, but talking on a zoom call about ways to protest climate catastrophe will get you 5 years in prison and protesting a genocide is antisemitic.. 2024 is minging..

Within a week, there is going to be an opinion piece: "I tried to break into the BlueSky echo chamber, but the so-called tolerant left would not talk to me." Please register your predictions of author and venue.

OK I don't want farmers going to prison for driving tractors over barricades, but if they're not gonna send them to prison can they also let out some of our lot who've been hauled in for public order offences too

I'm not sure Jeremy Clarkson is the most sympathetic champion for poor farmers, many of whose concerns about the loss of #Brexit subsidies and poor trade deals are legitimate. Here is what he told Top Gear magazine when he bought his farm 👇🏽 and what he claims today 👇🏽. 🧐~AA

As farmers protest at paying tax for the 1st time on multi-million pound inheritances, a thread on some of the tax breaks farmers get, often uniquely. Fair enough; food is important. But the idea farmers are being unfairly treated is mad. They get hugely beneficial treatment from the tax system 1/7

As someone who picked your fruit and veg for twenty years. Believe me when I say the average farmer doesn't give a shit about feeding the population of the country until they need you on their side.
