(They do cost a bit more than regular TVs… not subsidized by all of that data collection and ads…)

A dumb TV is now called a “commercial display”. They use them at restaurants, airports, hotels, etc. You can buy them from B&H Photo.

Life is Strange is great, and you don’t need to be a “gamer” to enjoy it!

It's sort of an old-school adventure game... It has segments where you just choose dialog options, but also away missions, ship-to-ship combat (which can be avoided in almost all cases with diplomacy), and some really cool opportunities to interact with the ship computer. Full TNG voice cast.

Have you played “A Final Unity”? It’s a bit old but maybe my favorite Star Trek gaming experience…

If you have a personal or family plan (not a business one), go to cancel your subscription and it will give you the option to have it without AI at the old price. (I’m not kidding!!! Had two family members do it in the last two weeks.)

Thanks for posting. This might be my favorite documentary series ever... Everyone should watch it once, and I'm putting in my queue to rewatch again soon.

I’ve had this on my list forever… Well, the Apple Arcade version. How is the music? I understand Nobuo Uematsu did it.

I loved it even though I never made it out of the starting “purgatory” area and I didn’t have the manual to read those paragraph prompts! I’ve been meaning to give it another shot one day — either in an Apple II emulator, or I also have the DOS version.

Bootable restore is broken in macOS 15.2 :-/ The backups work with Migration Assistant though so it should still be easy to recover a fresh macOS.

Dumped Time Machine for Carbon Copy Cloner … maybe after the 8th time that I had to fight with Time Machine? CCC has been smooth sailing.
