Hello Gardening Friends, It is such a lovely time of year when the Solomon's Seal and Lily of the Valley are the stars. 🌱 I am finishing up planting the front yard, where both these beauties are blooming and will share a pic soon. Not sure what is up with the weather, but she is 6c this morning.

@drstevenhobbs.bsky.social Caterpillars respond primarily to temp., birds rely partly on day length—an unchanging cue in a changing world—resulting in a cognitive trap where their traditional instincts lead them astray. Their chicks starve to death, instinctually, nothing to eat! Dinner butterflies.

@drstevenhobbs.bsky.social Am I right, are they saying that the Oort Cloud behaves more like a galaxy in its shape and form around the Sun, the source, most likely, of Dark Matter perturbations, as well as real matter, like galaxies, which they say would fly apart. Does Dark Matter fluctuate much?
