I want the people that are ruling this country to be smarter than me. I am very disappointed.
I don't really post much, if at all, but I reply to a lot of other people's posts.

And they would have to require employers to provide health coverage. Even employers that do provide health coverage charge for coverage of the employee's dependents. In a low paying job, this can put coverage out of reach.

Wow, that degenerated fast. It’s like the crazy old man version of mean girls.

Secret police need to be secret, otherwise they might be held accountable for their actions.

A longtime ago we took in stray cat that was left behind when someone moved. Beautiful long haired white cat, excellent hunter. We called the cat Miss Kitty. Miss Kitty-had to go to the vet. They asked me what is his name. I stuttered Kitty, his name is Kitty. He was fixed and had very long hair.

I don't think that title "leader of the free world" applies anymore. A whiny bitch like trump can't lead anything except his cult.

How long before the new executive order declaring county health departments as threats to national security and demanding they be disbanded?

He also wants to change the name of the SS Harriet Tubman. I assume he will wait until February (Black History Month) to announce that.

I noticed that too, and it makes me sad.

They say the man in the video "violated terms of his release by failing to report to immigration authorities". It is really a lose/lose situation because they are grabbing people when they arrive for their immigration check-ins, so no matter what, the result is the same.

My brother is mentally ill. Lindell reminds me a lot of him when he is off his meds. His appearance, his words, his mannerisms, and actions are similar. My brother also managed to lose everything he owned and several important relationships while in a very long running manic phase.

I understand that many of these people don't read, but they all have staff. Why not split the bill between several staff members, have them summarize their sections, and ask them about anything you don't understand? Idiots keep getting elected, but I assume that their staffs are more intelligent.

A good use of taxpayer's money, renaming ships, and all of the documentation of same, at the whim of an idiot who has been given too much power and is pushing the limits of that. Yes, he is an idiot, but what do we call the people surrounding him that go along with every one of his foolish ideas?

Back when I was on twitter, I used to check out Rubio's almost daily bible verses. I was convinced he had a random bible verse generator because so many seemed to be self owns. I used to reply with verses that I looked up specifically aimed at him, usually ones that dealt with hypocrisy.

And the reasons for that are obvious. Too many in power with a direct line to Moscow.

He wrote a letter to Jim Jordan demanding an investigation. I am sure "Gym" will get right on it after he finishes his investigations of Hunter Biden, the Biden Crime Family and every Democrat that has gained the ire of the big orange blob in the White House.

And his uncle was really smart, so therefore, ipso facto, trump is a genius.

Obviously, it is Kim Jong Un. Everyone laughs at his jokes. They don't always understand his references to 90s alt rock, caviar, eating so much you puke, 100 ways to kill your uncle, etc. but his delivery is so good, they can't help but laugh hysterically, as mere chuckles can have repercussions.

"President Donald Trump has apparently suffered from “mental anguish” as a result of a CBS News “60 Minutes” interview with former Vice President Kamala Harris last year, his lawyers alleged in court documents."
Trump is such a weak little man.

"...that the court should decide with the Trump-to prevent embarrassment on an international stage!"
The judge should inform them that that ship has sailed.

The court’s order was unsigned and provided no reasoning... it granted a request that will allow the administration to act even as an appeals court considers the case and, potentially, the justices review it again.
So, it they act and then are ruled against, will all of those people be allowed back?

I'm not a victim, but let me whine about how hard it is to work in an office for longer than 8 hours. No one else has ever done that.
My God. He has only been on the job 3 months.

I agree that the very old politicians need to retire, but youth is not necessarily a cure-all for what ails us. There are many younger politicians that are lacking in intelligence, morality, and/or concern for the well-being of all Americans. We need to have more discernment in those we elect.

We know he is deranged, and he just spews whatever ludicrous crap that forms in his diseased brain, but what is wrong with those that not only take him seriously, but encourage him? Is this some kind of mass psychosis? I don't understand how anyone can listen to him and not want him committed.

In 2020?

Jesus said to be not like these hypocrites.
“But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.”

Hopefully, I will have the honor of voting for you someday. I am old, so it should be someday soon.

I do understand. I live in a blue state that did not vote for trump, though some people here did. Many in the world are looking at our country and think we are all a bunch of either stupid or evil people because we elected a stupid, evil leader. Most people who live here did not vote for trump.

Except when talking about the non-existent white genocide in South Africa.
When you have a leader whose fantasies are accepted by so many as truth, it is hard to break through. Hard, but hopefully not impossible.

More trash in the environment, more pollution in the air, more chemicals in the water, more mining, logging and drilling in our National Parks. This is so businesses can make more profits, while the citizens and the environment get sicker. Short term thinking.

Two states tried to keep trump off of the ballot using that reasoning and our supreme court said no. The supreme court, no matter what you think of them, is the last word.

They like to tell us what will happen and are always wrong. They like to tell us what would have happened if trump was reelected in 2020 and it is always some weird utopian fantasy. They always lie about what is happening right now.

It is one thing to say stupid stuff with your friends, but to say stupid stuff in front of the whole world takes a special kind of stupid. Trump is that special kind of stupid.

I appreciate all that Marc has done to try and preserve democracy, but the reason I followed him on X and now on Bluesky is because he had pictures of Bode everywhere, even on the pillow on his couch. I knew he was a good person because anyone who loves a dog like that is good. So sorry for his loss
