On occasions as I’ve shared my art, another artist asked something like “What do you thinking about as you paint?” I say color, shape, pattern… and they look confused. So I ask - Is it only really ‘Art’ if you are thinking deep thoughts, and every piece has a meaning that you are trying to convey?
