Happily retired. Don't quite know where the day goes but it really does go! Love to knit. Pamper my cats. Yep I am a geezer no longer in training.

First flowers! Purple are the wild ones that have always been here. The second photo is of bulbs I planted last year.

Started a wash last night. Remembered it was in the washing machine after we got back from town. Then remembered it was in the dryer about 5 minutes ago. Yep my sum total of achievement today is I got one load of wash done. Well there are days like this aren't there.

Forget buying cat toys. All you need is a elastic string and a hair tie... And if you buy enough elastic or hair ties they could come in a cardboard box. It could be another toy.

too soon?

I am extraordinarily satisfied that all the bulbs that I ordered for our property have been planted Thanks to an electric drill with an auger bit and my long suffering husband and a friend. We got them all planted... I should have counted the total number of bulbs... The picture is last spring.

Perfect tiny little mushrooms while I was picking up wood

The tree is getting closer to being finished but has been stalled for several days now... I really need to find some little tiny icicles through the upper branches. Yeah those will be fun to put on and take off..

Obsessively decorating the Christmas tree. Skipped it last year just too tired from moving to Oregon to try. But this year it's going up. How's the first layer or so of ornaments on it but lots more to put on it. Yep it has to look like Christmas threw up on the tree before it's officially done.

Choose carefully

And this is why we have called our patio the peacock patio. It's always nice when the two boys decide to come and hang out on our patio.

I was doing the wash walked in and the washer and dryer were actually in sync for the only time I can recall. It's a little thing but it was nice. I will continue to have my brain turned off except for these type of events for probably 4 years..

Lovely rainbow yesterday
