I think this is the very closest I am going to get to understanding the inexplicable notion anglos have that Dutch is a somehow completely unreasonable language despite being very closely related to English.

Northern English? It's weird but its intuitive that They Talk Like That. The notion will not stick for me with the more prestigious English accents.
