I should clarify that the part about Texas and California working together to stop the vaguely Trump-coded President still isn’t remotely realistic. Trump would have to either come out as trans or repeal the Second Amendment for Texas to turn against him.

To be clear, I was fine with Rey not having any special lineage. I just don’t think it makes sense to treat that as some kind of bold and subversive twist just because the fans were hoping for something more.

Finn is also probably the last person who needs to be lectured about how bad fascism is, given that he was a child soldier who had recently defected by his own volition.

Well, RJ did infamously share a post on social media where he made fun of all the Snoke theories. Plus, he also stated that he considered Rey being a nobody to be a shocking twist in its own right, as if it wasn’t the most mundane reveal imaginable. It’s only “shocking” in a meta sense.

I gotta be honest, Rose as a character was always just kinda eh to me. It goes without saying that Kelly Marie Tran did not deserve the harassment she received. I simply think a lot of the praise for her character felt kinda forced. I’d even argue she was kinda detrimental to Finn’s character.

We haven’t even managed to colonize Antarctica, but sure, we can totally colonize other planets in our galaxy within five years!

The guy who wrote that article is a member of The Heritage Foundation, so he was obviously lying to try and cover their asses.

I don’t think anyone had even heard of Justin Baldoni before this whole saga.

The fact that Newsom is doing this goes to show how utterly insane and dictatorial Trump is being.

Couldn’t you make excuses like this for basically anyone who makes offensive edgelord “jokes” though?
To be clear, I’m not accusing Gunn of being a pedo. I’m just not convinced people would rush to his defense if he hadn’t made some geek movies they liked.

I made the mistake of browsing Reddit

I mean, Gunn was in his 40’s when he made those old tweets. It’s not like he was a child. That begs the question, did Gunn genuinely mature from his old edgelord days, or did he just rebrand himself to avoid getting in trouble again?

I can’t speak on whether the (temporary) firing of Gunn was justified and Mike Cernovich is certainly garbage, but with that said, I’m skeptical that as many people would be defending him if he hadn’t made the funny raccoon movies.

No. My morals and ethics revolve around preventing fascist psychos like the Republican Party from setting America back to the 19th century.

Is her receiving political donations over a 10 year span supposed to mean anything?

Harris wasn’t the one whose campaign was funded by the richest person in the world, but sure, go off.

Those leaders were never going to vote for Harris in the first place.

Also, I’m pretty sure he’s a producer on it.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that there’s no way they’d be able to pull a Christopher Plummer or Tig Notaro with Jared Leto. He plays the lead of the film.

It’s called being a Democrat. Let’s not forget that even Biden and Harris were accused of being anti-Zionist by certain people (*cough* Ben Shapiro).

The curse of being a Democrat, where you can simultaneously be a a pro-Zionist pig and an anti-Semite who wants to destroy Israel.

I’m surprised he didn’t call it the X69420 Party or something.

Once more, every single person who didn’t vote for Harris is complicit in this.

Why the hell would Trump be ok with Musk calling him a pedo if it were a fake fight?

Didn’t those used to be called imaginary friends?

He means that he dumped a quarter of a billion dollars into Trump’s campaign and spent $44 billion turning Twitter into a far-right shithole that amplifies Nazi voices. He probably doesn’t mean that he tampered with voting machines. Sadly, I think 77 million people did legitimately vote for Trump.

“Harris offered nothing” is such a disingenuous and BS talking point straight out of Putin’s playbook.
