I'd be shocked if it happened.
...okay, some other people would be shocked too, I guess.

They reference WW2 because it's what they still fully understand.
I reference WW2 to rouse you from bed.
We are not the same.

I guess if you consider all the permutations of wildly-inconsistent conspiracy theories that have permeated much of the right, sure. Very diverse.

The reviewers need to expand their vocabulary when describing stuff. They could've said that the first game is simplistic, offers some twists on the RPG genre, has a pretty emotional throughline in the plot, and happened to show up at a time when folks were craving just that.

It doesn't help that Deltarune is basically an AU of the first game and depends on you knowing many of the characters from the first to piece things together. If you bounced off of Undertale, it's an uphill battle to connect with the sequel.

Fabula Ultima has gotten the closest to that, in my experience. Seems pretty well-written!

"It's complicated" when people find conflicts is also a great way to defer explanations.

The trick with the first is to be an unreliable worldbuilder and nod sagely when minor details conflict.

And not even that, over time. A Netflix sub costs more than my terrible gaming habit per month, *computer upgrades included*

Same, in both length and degree of result. I was someone entirely different before. A miserable shade of a person.

I'm similar to Sinn in having that Midwestern politeness thing, so I reflexively feel like it was rude of me to just bark "no solicitors" and immediately shut the door. Passes after a moment, thankfully.

I swear they push back harder than they did before I transitioned. These jerks will see me struggle to keep an angry dog inside and just keep going.
