Sen John Hoffman was shot NINE times and his wife Yvette took EIGHT bullets. Successfully protecting her daughter with her body. Her daughter took ZERO bullets thanks to her mom.

Apologies. Got THIS incident confused with a similar one that took place in Los Angeles.

This is the one that really made me really proud of our state. The Springs is a military town. That crowd was a bigger deal than Denver's larger one.

IMO the picture of the elderly veteran with his hands tied behind his back, marched away, an officer dragging the vet's walker along..........is the picture representing the republican party.

Reprehensible! 80 year old Veteran with his hands zip tied behind his back, while a 79 year old draft dodger, stands on a deserted street, watching his 45 million $ parade, saluting (?) those, who on numerous times, he has called, suckers & losers!

All I could see was a lack of respect, empathy, & common sense on the part of the officers. An 80 year old VETERAN! That walker was as necessary for his walking disability as anyone who needs glasses or a hearing aid, wheelchair, etc. How dare they exploit that disability & deprive him of dignity!
