this will be the first without my parents, after my mom passed in August. i'm taking over her house here in Mesa. i just made myself a nice little bacon wrapped filet Mignon. tomorrow i'll be with my niece's family for dinner. but, for tonight, if i want a slushy, i can go to the QuikTrip.

9. in a tense situation my mind immediately shifts into a very calm and logical mode. i dont panic.
