I think the reality is United are aspiring to be Arsenal.
No trophies but consistent top 4 revenues.
For me, as a fan, that’s pretty hollow.
Football is all about winning those trophies.
Business is all about the revenues.

The worse we get, the more obsessive I become. 😂

I was gutted last night. As bad as I’ve felt losing a final (as an adult).
But I’m over it now.
You’re either invested, or you’re not. And I am!

Oh 100%
At the very least United will do a couple of mid-season ‘training breaks’ especially if we have the absolute result of going out of the 3rd round of the FA Cup in a dispiriting defeat to Cambridge United.

We all missed football during the early pandemic but I can confidently say you couldn’t pay me to watch that again - under any circumstance.

I don’t think the selection was criminal. Waiting so long to make the change was.

Club let 3 attackers leave in January too.

While I find that a huge black mark against the manager.
It is also more reason to stick with him - otherwise it’s more short term pain for zero medium/long term gain.

Slow decline followed by a rapid plummet, thanks to Glazer vandalism and Ratcliffe ego.

Sir Jim just wants to be surrounded by ‘yes men’.
The Glazers lucked out by attracting an egotistical billionaire to throw a king’s ransom at a minority stake in the club - then drive the club off the edge of a cliff and take the abuse.

It the only way he know how to play.
And INEOS bought into it, the tossers.
Such a negative formation. Not becoming of Manchester United.

INEOS culpable this season too. Absolute charlatans.
The future is bleak.

Zero signs currently of anything resembling something to build on.
United around the relegation zone by November internationals and he’s gone.

Relegation was never on the cards this season because the bottom 3 were so poor.
We need to hope the same is true next season.
Tonight’s loss will undoubtedly affect transfer plans.
The rebuild will be slow and I’m not even sure we’ll be out of the tail spin.

A new low in the modern era. For now.

Love that show.
Watching Manchester United play football is like listening to an uncle Colm anecdote.

That’s Spurs, Newcastle and Crystal Palace added to the list of teams who have won more in the last 4 years that Arsenal.

Love that.
I always look to loved ones who would be happy when United lose.
Your family have paid their dues.

I’m still flabbergasted at how bad we’ve become.
Decades of mediocrity then a plummet into abject shit.
