Even more powerful coming on the heels of David Attenborough's 99th birthday and what he himself proclaims his most important project yet.

As for the other kind of MVP (most valuable paragraph): “Today, Domino Park is a curated landscape…with the sweetest skyline views.” As a bonus, I learned a new word today: "trustafarian."

And this comes three days before Nancy Faust is set to return to the South Side stadium organ.

Wonder if the AHL would consider taking its Outdoor Classic to The Rate and seeing what Faust can do with "Kickstart My Heart"?

(2) ...and I have no doubts RIFC, just like the P-Bruins, will deliver on those fronts - which are far more controllable than the final score or standings - by following the precedent the PawSox set in the Mondor era.

(1) Among other points, Dan basically echoes what I always say -as a steadfast Rhode Islander at heart - about local sports teams: It's not whether they win or lose, it's where they play their games. The game-day experience and the authentic local flavor therein plays no small role in the appeal...

What, is this Canada all of a sudden?

To be fair, Denver's premier sports venue *was* known as the Pepsi Center for about two decades. And looking at New York, I can't help but remember Albany used to have a Pepsi Arena, although Buffalo once had Coca-Cola Field.

My only connection to Moses Brown has been a one-off freelance assignment. That said, the story’s subject was the middle school Team Trips, which – as this Channel 12 segment aptly noted – Skills is exceptionally passionate about. It was a pleasure to interview him and get to know him on that level.

The first "starstruck" moment in my line of work was when I attended a lecture by Boston Globe sportswriting legend Bob Ryan. He exuded the same energy, enthusiasm, and desire to share one's common passion for the subject matter as he always has in print or on TV.

But if we're to believe "The Office," Winnipeg is one of the quickest destinations to fly to. Apparently getting there from Scranton takes so little time that airlines don't bother with in-flight meals.

"If you start to identify with his characters too much, you’re probably the butt of the joke." Reminds me of when some viewers didn't realize Stephen Colbert's "Colbert Report" alter-ego was a parody.

Where's a GIF of Aladdin's genie in bee form screaming "Mayday! Mayday!" when you need it?

Since no one's mentioned any of these here yet: "Burn It Down," "New Divide," "Bleed It Out," "What I've Done," and the wildly underrated "Easier to Run."

To borrow a phrase from Joe Ehrmann - himself a pastor, former NFL player, high school football coach, and star of Jeffrey Marx's brilliant book, "Season of Life," - you might say Carter was a bona fide Man Built for Others.

(2) As Lewis Black might say, because when I think the Atlantic/East Coast, I think South Bend, Indiana!

(1) I still can't believe that, outside of men's hockey, Notre Dame has never been a member. I know they have their tradition of independence in football, but that's a school whose other sports teams were once part of the Big East and now the Atlantic Coast Conference.
