And it felt like in the present she was trying to Do It Right, but institutionalization and the mental health care system has ultimately done little more for her than the literal woods. So she falls back into hurting people. Shit is sad. S3 veered from that into...deadeyed influencer manipulator?

I do hear you, and it might be worth assessing where we can sneak things in earlier going forward. But for now, I just wanted to reassure it won't be forgotten

It will get coverage---just at end of season, in both writeups and podcasts (or potentially its own retrospective, which Ave definitely has enough juice for). It's not meant to be a shut out, just choosing when it can be best covered within limited time available

Apologies. I'm just noodling on your post now. Short thought, Ave is good, So Much Happens every second that I at least don't want to talk about it until it's over

There are undeniable drawbacks to largely waiting until seasonal shows are finished to cover them in depth, and I respect that frustration. But it does also save from having hype articles on unfinished stories that age like milk when something does a Wonder Egg (an eternal fear).

Re: Soriano, it's definitely p fun but light, but we poll readers for the shows they wanna hear about most (podcasts are time limited for transcript wage reasons), it was one of them Also means it won't get much chat on the wrapup. Leaving more time for sequels. There's also an Ave feature on hold

Um....MyGo was one of the picks for best anime of 2023. It's also had a feature focus since then. People on staff are watching and enjoying Ave Mujica. We just have time/space limits. It won't go without its EOS accolades www.animefeminist.com/anime-femini... www.animefeminist.com/bang-dream-i...

I think you need to have seen Bake but technically it's a prequel

Kizu is worth watching. It's shinbo-free so the fan service that is in it feels more purpose driven and equal opportunity (though I still have my complaints about how it frames Kiss Shot)

"At least the toothbrush scene is consensual (compared to a different scene)" I was told. So.

Even monogats fans (that I respect) don't like Nise. It's blatantly just incest jerkoff material with some of the good characters snuck in at the edges
comment in response to post
No, Nise is steaming dogshit, I have to make my own fun. The alleged good streak is after this

I'm being EXTREMELY proactive and put together a copyediting service on Ko-fi. I'll get the hang of what the workflow looks like as one develops, but I do have a lot of professional experience editing (my time in marketing, for Routledge in grad school, as a freelancer)!! ko-fi.com/stitchmediam...

My partner pointed out their pet peeve (in subs but can carry over) translation convention of some version of "I want to do this together with you" (rather than just "with you" or just "together") and now I see it EVERYWHERE

Yeah, I usually play clean the first run, get what I get, and then subsequent runs I'll use a guide of major flags--usually only for long VNs bc even with a fast forward skipping through the old text can be tedious (N+C my old friend)
