It's republican math. They just want to cut costs on paper, either on-going expenditures, such as entitlements and social programs, or planned expenditures, such as future grants and contracts., or future revenues, such as taxes. It's playing shuffle the numbers. All for their big tax cut.

Trump's leverage over Ukraine is military aid, but that's dependent on Congress to authorize appropriations. He wants to sell the deal over Ukraine's mineral resources. His threat is complete US withdrawal of support. We'll see, but suspect the deal dies in Trump's face.

Worse firing employees shuts down the employee's e-mail account the government can't contact them to rehire them, and they don't know their personal e-mail accounts or cellphone numbers, like they would respond.

Administrative leave have limits. It's not indefinite paid leave without reasons. Just because is not one. Employees get full salaries and benefits. It achieves nothing in this situation except people aren't at work.

We didn't vote for this POS president. You did. Don't cry to me and expect a measure of sympathy. We knew he was lying. You knew he was but took his campaign rhetoric as truth. Everybody who believed his lies will feel the pain, as will many of us who fall in the same category. No thank you's here.

Name change applies in the US. North American countries will see both and rest of the world should see Gulf of Mexico.

He's got all our personal and financial data. Why not use it to sell his shit service. Wait for the invitations coming soon with your application prefilled with your information and your new id to accept, or else he'll sell it.

It was a treaty between US & Canada establishing 49th parallel as international boundary. It was permanent once surveyed and demarcated with boundary markers. The bump in northern Minnesota was due to survey error intheir position on Lake of the woods. It was corrected but the boundary stayed.

America is tired, especially knowing we have four years of this ahead of us and only one thing will stop it, that's Trump having mental or physical breakdown. He's heading there, but when is the unknown. Some hope it's sooner than later.

Asbestos is still around in people's homes and apartments. It was used in ceilings into the 1970's. My apartment still has asbestos spackle ceiling. As long as it stays in one piece undisturbed and doesn't flake it's safe. When it flakes it takes hazmat team to remove it and cleanup the room.

If democrats sweep Congress in midterm, Trump will be impeached and not run again. If republicans keep Congress they'll give Trump another term if he's still capable. I'm still going with he will crash physically or mentally it can't be hidden by White House. JMO

Don't bet on it. The career Treasury employee overseeing the payment program left. He was replaced with a Trump loyalist. The program is now in hands of Trump.

Musk survives on government contracts, grants, tax breaks. Let's defund Musk and give the money to NPR & PBS.

The Chiefs are the combination of the right team members, right coaches, and right QB. Much goes to their creative offensive coaches calling plays and the QB to make them work. Teams couldn't find a way to stop that for 4 quarters.

His danger is local elections offices in some state use StarLink to transfer vote total to state elections office. Musk had that transfer delayed in computers between offices. He can then see the numbers. Some question this since encryption prevents it but it's not confirmed that happens.

I've never doubted Musk interfered with election offices transfers of vote counts via StarLink. He put a time delay in the transfers. Why, if not to view the results and adjust the numbers. Other states used other methods, namely rejecting democratic voters and votes, all which gave Trump a win.

Anyone want to bet in the future some non-Treasury Department person(s) shutdown Social Security payments, or Medicare or Medicaid reimbursements, or civil service direct deposit salary checks, or other payment programs? With that access, it's not if, but when as Elon Musk orders. JMO

I don't consider Trump's brain farts options worth being news. He likes to talk and make it seems he's smart. Media should stop reporting it or start asking him questions about it. Otherwise let it go with the wind.
