I’ve been pulling for the Bills since my Lions blew it last weekend, but I did chuckle when I saw this in a bookstore last weekend…

Hey! 44 years of emotional abuse in a toxic relationship with the Detroit Lions is like…three or four weeks from finally paying off… (I told my son he could pick any team he wanted cause I just couldn’t do it to him, so in the end he choose soccer.)

You’re telling me a story, in that story I agree that there are going to be some rule changes from the real world, but once you set those rules you have to follow them. It’s that easy. That’s why people get so hung up on ‘canon’.

I once heard it explained that a Hero will sacrifice themselves for what/who they love/believe in, a villain will sacrifice everyone else for what/who they love/believe in.

I’ve never seen anyone bail on running that fast in my life. Couldn’t be happier for the guy.

Well the single season record is 5,477 (P. Manning ‘13). 4,002 is currently 230th (P. Manning ‘08, E. Manning ’10, A. Rogers ‘19). So that would be why the number isn’t higher. Between 4-5k yards is a pretty good season for a QB. Anything over 5k is top 15 all time.

The short answer is that he plays better teams. The AFC East is, year to year, generally bad and gives him 4 or so easy games to pad stats plus however many other push over teams. You don’t get that in the Playoffs.

If we just don’t factor in the part of the year where they were good and we were bad, we would have won…loser franchise mindset. Anyone can say that. Just say we had a bad start and made mistakes and move on.

Actually that was his whole point. That if they could get a Zamboni driver to cover a goalie they surely could manage to find a guy to cover for the first down chains somewhere on the sideline.
